Ngon Villa Restaurant

Built in 1889 for a French army captain, Ngon Villa magnificently reflects this fascinating period of Vietnam’s history. The structure itself is a blend of French style and Vietnamese building techniques, using red brick for the walls and a bamboo base to provide a natural cooling system. Today, the house has been restored and served as a restaurant to showcase Vietnam’s finest cuisines.

Before heading over to this restaurant, you should have a reservation to avoid disappointment, but sometimes no have reservation, you luckily could have comfortable seats.

Quan An Ngon

Its first branch is in Saigon, with the premise is like a luxurious food court, with different food stations positioned around the periphery of the restaurant serving regional specialities from across Vietnam, all cooked fresh to order.

Some complain that it lacks true authenticity with reduced flavours to appease the Western palate and more expensive than other restaurants, but everything is very well prepared and the restaurant is beautifully designed in traditional Vietnamese style.

This is a Vietnamese restaurant that everyone should visit for innovative local Vietnamese dishes and exotic liquors. With a classic Vietamese decoration, local artwork, bamboo furnishing and floor cushions, the restaurant is a good option for dining style.

Visitors can be impressed by its space. You can sit at regular tables or on floor cushions with low tables on the ground floor, while the terrace upstairs offers a view of Hanoi.
