Since Myanmar opened to the outside world, visitors was discovering a hidden cuisine of this country. The cuisine of Myanmar has an influence from China and India, but still has its specialities that can not found in any other cuisine.
As in most of Southeast Asia, Myanmar restaurants and stalls tend to specialize in a single dish or culinary style.

1.Tea leaf salad
Differ from many kinds of normal salads, ingredient of this food is tea leaf. To make the dish, the sour, slightly bitter leaves are mixed by hand with shredded cabbage, sliced tomatoes, crunchy deep-fried beans, nuts and peas, a splash of garlic oil and pungent slices of chili and garlic. It’s also considered a stimulant: the Burmese says that eating too much lephet thoke can prevent sleep.
Known as the fish rice of the ethnic Shan, is combined between rice that’s been cooked with turmeric and squashed into a disk with a topping of flakes of freshwater fish and garlic oil. The dish is enjoyed with chili sauce.
There are many kinds of curries for your choices: pork, beef, shrimp, fish,… It is served with rice, salad, soup and other herbes.
The sticky yellow stuff is served over thin rice noodles, chunks of marinated chicken or pork. It’s enjoyed with chili oil and includes sides of pickled veggies and broth. The dish doesn’t actually include tofu, but rather a thick porridge made from chickpea flour.
The dish is attractive with fat sticky yellow stuff, broth which is made from vegetables, served with chicken, slices of fish, boiled egg and chili oil.
This is a traditional breakfast of Myanmar. The dish is presented everywhere on the street.
7.Sweet snacks and drinks
It seems like the cuisine of Thailand and Asian countries, there are many kinds of snacks in the Burmese cuisine, especially sweet snacks and drinks. You can easily look for them at most of local markets in Myanmar.
