1.Snake and Scorpion Wine
Wine is commonly made from rice, sticky rice, flour or fruits. However, this kind of wine is dipped with snakes or scorpions. Nobody can think that those dangerous animals are cancelled out by the alcohol. The Vietnamese call this type of wine as one of the “medicine wines”. They are served for drinking hobby, as other kinds of wine or beer. Furthermore, according to Vietnamese people, this “medicine wine” has effects of supprting health and curing illness such as pain, rheumatism, lumbago, etc.
Pho is more popular with foreign tourists. However, do you wonder this kind of cocktail? The Pho-flavored cocktail is originated from a Vietnamese bartender, Pham Tien Tiep. Including materials of “pho”, the cocktail is a mix of gin or vodka, lime juice and a concoction of flavors that make up the famous Vietnamese broth. Guests would be tasted all of flavours of “Pho”, but it is still a kind of wine.
Egg coffee might sound odd but when you try it, you will be surprised by its flavour. The bater on top of the egg coffee is fluffy, light and sweet. An egg coffee is traditionally prepared with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk and Robusta coffee. The drink is made by beating egg yolks with sugar and coffee, then extracting the coffee into the half of the cup, followed by a similar amount of egg cream, which is prepared by heating and beating the yolks.
